10/2021 – 12/2021 EPCM Holdings (South Africa) | Student Engineer

My role at EPCM was to aid in procurement of parts required for engineering projects as well as to assist

with strength analysis calculations on pipeline support systems. Other roles included engineering

administrative work such as setting up and updating engineering project checklists.

01/2022 – Present SA TRUCK BODIES (South Africa) | Mechanical engineer (Industrial engineering and research and development)
My role for my first year at SA Truck bodies time was spent 60 % designing in office where I tested

designs and accumulated all plans required for projects followed by 30 % within a workshop where I

assisted with, or assembled and installed projects with an industrial/maintenance artisan team. 10 % of

my time was spent in engineering meetings every afternoon to give feedback and progress reports to

my engineering managers. For me a normal working week consists of 53 hours.
