Description: WGS Billing is an integral part of Anthem which handles processing, accounting and reporting of income. The system makes it possible for membership maintenance to be processed independent of monthly billings. Future maintenance billings will be reflected in the appropriate billing cycle. Retroactivity will be displayed on the subsequent billing cycle with appropriate adjustments. Automatic reconciliation of premiums remitted for groups’ is set-up with the appropriate indicators. I was part of development of migration of WGS to CBP system (which is an ORMB application), cash backout, Smart MEWA, Overage Dependent process, etc. That involved Agile way of working.
